Better is good, really?

If we are in sound living conditions, we take it granted. Sometimes even in the finest living environment we start the micro-analysis about its downsides. A stage of self-cherishing the surroundings will never attend. This leads to persistent quest of refinement of the conveniences.

Where is the problem? Is it our habit? Seeking for better, is it a bad thing?

Seeking for better is a good thing. However, one should seek the betterment in their actions and not their results. Many times end results are the tangible artifact.  Material objects gives happiness to a limit. Thus refining it in an infinite loop does not lead to infinite increase in happiness. To a certain limit, resources are required, above which it is addictive and compulsive leading to even worsen the experience of otherwise simple and beautiful life.
Looking for better and better objects is addictive thus not worth.

Striving for better actions is however a good thing thus it’s a noble idea.
